BorgWarner EFR 8374 Turbo (12839097000)
EFR 8374 is engineered to support big power levels yet spool fast enough for professional time attack teams. The 74mm Gamma-Ti turbine wheel is an optimal match for the 62.6mm inducer / 83mm exducer FMW compressor wheel and is capable of 79lb/min airflow. This is one of the most exciting turbos in the EFR lineup for the high-power addicts. This turbo has the largest EFR compressor housing and is ideal for use in single turbo applications for the 500-800hp range, or as twin turbo applications up to 1300hp. Ceramic Ball Bearing only, watercooling optional (recommended)

After having my RSX N/A build (232whp/155tq) for awhile I was looking to add more power to the car. I knew I wanted to go turbo, so I started looking around and getting more info about it. Once I had an idea of where I wanted the build to go I called up Full-Race and talked to them. They helped me pick out the BorgWarner EFR 8374 Twin Scroll Kit. They said it would fit my power goals and also be fast spooling. I didn’t know much about them at the time but I knew the company and the other turbos they had made so I went with it. Got the kit installed and absolutely love it. The turbo spools up insanely quick and the power/tq you can get out of this was over my power goals. I also like the fact that the kit was all inclusive. I didn’t need to get a BOV, 2 wastegates, 2 dump tubs and boost control. The fitment is very nice as well if you ever worked on an RSX then you know there is not much room. Overall I really enjoy this kits and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mid to high HP.
