The G-Series G57-2000 88mm Turbocharger Is for Making Big Power
Capable of flowing up to 170 LBS/MIN Airflow, the 88mm Garrett G57 turbocharger is a beast. This G-Series turbo is designed specifically for big displacement, high boost and massive performance, when extreme horsepower levels are needed in 88mm inducer limited competitive drag race applications—like Radial vs The World and X275. Although the G57-2000 is the smallest turbo at this housing size—there's also the G57-2350, G57-2550, G57-2750, and the G57-3000—that doesn't mean it's in any way not up for the challenge of creating big power. This turbo will deliver huge power numbers without issue.Â
It comes with a new high-flowing Inconel turbine wheel and lightweight one-piece aluminum CHRA are the two major features that differentiate the G57 from its GTX predecessor and allows it to outperform any other 88mm turbo on the market today

Turbine Stage
The newly engineered turbine wheel with optimized G Series aerodynamics increases flow by up to 28% (Compared to GTX Gen II, see graph below). The large 90 trim turbine stage measures 118mm at the inducer and 112mm at the exducer. G57 is offered with three stainless steel V-band turbine housings in 1.09 A/R, 1.25 A/R, and 1.41 A/R. Center Housing: One-piece aluminum center housing reduces supercore weight.
The center housing is air-cooled, features a 16mm dual ceramic ball bearing for premium rotor dynamics, and retains the oil inlet and outlet specifications from previous GTX designs. Compressor Stage: Garrett G57 compressor stages are offered in 88mm, 94mm, 98mm, 102mm, and 106mm inducer sizes each with its own horsepower ratings indicated in the model name.
