BorgWarner 64.5mm S300SX 8876 aka S364SX
The 64mm S300SX FMW is BorgWarner Turbo Systems latest evolution of the proven Airwerks S300 turbocharger lineup. This turbo has been recently updated with their latest generation FMW 7-bladed Extended-Tip ‘billet’ compressor wheel w/ 64.5mm inducer & 88mm exducer in a 4″ inlet ported shroud compressor cover. This is paired with their proven 76mm inconel turbine wheel and tough 4340 steel shaft. Available in a variety of different turbine housings, made from HSM (HiSilMoly aka Hi-Silicon, Hi-Molybdenum) for increased strength at elevated temps, compared to traditional iron turbine housings. This turbo is recommended for use in quick spooling 500-700whp applications, and uses a severe-duty, 6-pad thrust bearing system to provide unprecedented levels of durability yet remains fully serviceable. Oil Cooled only (watercooling and BB CHRA not applicable).

FULL RACE RECOMMENDS MODIFYING THE TURBINE HOUSING TO 3″ VBAND. This makes downpipe fitment identical to Garrett and Precision turbos, allowing you to swap between any t4 turbocharger with 3″ vband outlet and guarantees fitment with Full-Race twinscroll turbo kits and manifolds:
- Max warm oil pressure: 5 bar (73.5psi)
- Max cold oil pressure: 8 bar (118psi)
- When starting a fresh engine build or in extremely cold climates – oil pressure must reach 0.5bar (7.2psi) within 4 seconds maximum.
- Do not load the engine with full boost and WOT until full operating oil pressure is present
- Do not load the engine with full boost and WOT if any boost leaks are present (this can result in turbocharger overspeed)
