Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L Precision | Turbonetics High Performance Drop In Turbo Upgrade
This turbo is purpose built to bolt on like stock to a RWD 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang, but offer the power capability you’d expect from a race spec high performance turbo kit. Designed for an ideal blend of response and top end power in a stock-frame fitment, the billet compressor wheel utilizes their latest generation blade aero with 11 full blades (no splitter) for a max flow rate of 65lb/min. The wastegate is Precision’s high pressure 18 PSI actuator, with optional Turbosmart Wastegate Actuator available. Compressor Housing retains OEM connections with a 3″ hose coupler inlet, 2″ hose coupler outlet so this is literally a drop in replacement with big power gains. Install as quickly as 2 hours and you’re done! With tuning and supporting mods, you’ll easily make over 500whp, without maxing out the boost. Since this turbo doesn’t have to use as much boost to produce these higher power levels, your EcoBoost engine doesn’t have to work as hard, and this results in a longer lasting healthy engine with no added turbo lag! Ported shroud compressor housings increase surge resistance and provide reliable, continuous power throughout the power band. A dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge prolongs the lifespan and improves shaft balance. The water cooled CHRA keeps bearing housing temperatures low. The turbine wheel is constructed from Inconel, a Super Alloy that maintains strength during prolonged exposure to high exhaust gas temperatures.

In addition, Turbonetics No Fault / No Hassle Warranty Policy includes all Turbonetics manufactured products such as turbochargers, heat exchangers, wastegates & by-pass valves for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Please be sure to retain your original proof of purchase and that you do not remove the serial number shown on the Turbonetics decal located on the backplate of turbocharger. Removal of the serial decal will void your warranty claim.
WARNING: The factory installed oil inlet filter was designed to help prevent contamination in the lubricating oil from entering and damaging the turbocharger bearing system. All turbocharger that come from the factory with the pre-installed oil inlet filter are marked with a special tamper evident sealer, if this filter is removed or the sealer disturbed it will void your no fault no hassle factory warranty so use care when installing or removing fittings not to disturb this sealer. Your turbocharger’s wheels have been precision balanced both individually and then as a rotating assembly. If the relationship or position of any of the rotating components changes from the factory setting it will compromise the precision balance of the components and cause the turbocharger to fail prematurely. There is a tamper evident sealer on the turbine shaft and nut, if this seal is disturbed or removed your warranty will be voided.
The turbo is rated from Precision to make ~520hp when tuned with supporting mods.
TWIN SCROLL EXHAUST MANIFOLD
The drop-in Precision turbo comes with a twin scroll exhaust manifold to aid in spool times and perfectly match the factory cylinder head outlet.
In order to simplify parts required and installation, an internal wastegate is attached to the turbo to control boost. This cuts down on needing to source an expensive external wastegate and removes the need for an aftermarket downpipe that reroutes the wastegate into the exhaust and prevents you from having trouble with emissions.

The Turbosmart Ford Mustang Turbonetics NXT Internal Wastegate Actuator (IWG) has been developed as an additional bolt on upgrade to the Turbonetics NXT turbocharger kit for 2015+ Ford Mustang vehicles allowing for even greater levels of performance, this provides better turbo response and greater sensitivity when managing boost pressures. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the Turbonetics kit, the Turbosmart IWG is easy to install and requires no special tools or fabrication. INSTRUCTIONS.
EM STYLE DOWNPIPE CONNECTION
Actually bolt on, yes, truly just drop-in, OEM location fitment, this turbo is designed to use the factory Ford downpipe outlet. This means that you can use any aftermarket downpipe that fits the stock turbo!
OEM STYLE TURBO INLET
The Precision drop-in turbo allows you to use your existing Intake System, without requiring any modification. With all of the inlets and outlets of this turbo matching the factory specifications, you can modify your Mustang EcoBoost at your own pace and as you see fit. This way you can go big turbo without having to repurchase performance parts that you’ve already bought.
