The highest power small-frame BorgWarner EFR turbo, EFR 7163 is designed specifically for competitive racing use. Literally an off-the-shelf IndyCar turbocharger, the 7163 is used as twin-turbos by all current IRL teams.

Based on BorgWarner's state-of-the-art ‘Mixed-Flow Gamma-Ti Turbine Wheel’ design, the 7163 allows for a remarkably fast spool and huge powerbands. This unique turbocharger is by far the most popular ball bearing small frame turbo we offer from any company, and for good reason! It's one of the best small-frame turbos, especially for twin-turbo applications.
