Representing the next evolution of the wildly popular EFR9174, the BorgWarner EFR9274 is the highest flowing 74mm turbine EFR turbo. Recommended for competitive drift and time attack application (especially at altitude), this unique turbo was designed specifically by BW engineering to combine the highest flowing 91mm compressor exducer with a 72mm compressor inducer to allow the same footprint to breathe a LOT better up top.
The BorgWarner 9274 is intended for setups that will push a turbo to the limit with high boost and critically high turbo shaft speed. Higher pressure ratios are achieved at lower turbo shaft speed. Using the same 74mm Gamma-Ti turbine wheel from the EFR9174, this turbo flows an impressive 106lbs/min of air at 125k RPM maximum shaft speed.

Why we love the 9274:
This turbo is the 2nd largest turbocharger in the EFR Black Series. The EFR Black means their highest flowing compressor possible for the 74mm turbine wheel. This 9274 has become a staple for professional drifting, used by Fred Aasbo, Ryan Tuerck, Jhonattan Castro, Ryan Litteral and more. Note - 9274 spools a little earlier and is more resistant to overspeed than the 9280 but will have higher backpressure at high rpm and high boost.
