Garrett PowerMax™ 2020+ 2.0L TSI EVO4 VW / Audi Turbo

Introducing the Garrett PowerMax™ direct-fit turbocharger for the 2020+ Volkswagen Golf R, Audi, and Cupra 2.0L TSI EA888 EVO4 engines. Engineered for increased engine performance while maintaining OEM fitment, this turbocharger upgrade is designed to take your driving experience to the next level. Featuring Garrett’s latest generation compressor and turbine wheel technology, it provides maximum flow and efficiency within the OEM footprint.

During on-vehicle testing, the PowerMax™ turbocharger produced a stunning 520BHP (383kW) and 425ft-lb of torque (576Nm) on a conservative tune. It offers +20% compressor flow and +37% turbine flow compared to the OE turbo. The turbine wheel is constructed from Mar-M alloy, rated for temperatures up to 1050°C, and the stainless steel, internally wastegated turbine housing is also rated for 1050°C, ensuring durability under extreme conditions.

Additionally, the turbocharger comes with a fully machined speed sensor port, allowing you to track turbo speed using Garrett’s new G-Smart Bluetooth Module (sold separately).

Full-Race High-Flow Front Mount Intercooler Core: The intercooler core boasts a flow rate exceeding 1000cfm, ensuring less than 1psi pressure drop at power levels up to 600+hp. It offers a 70% larger internal flow area than OEM, utilizing oversized 10mm paths for both charge air and ambient air—significantly wider than the typical 6.5mm paths. This design maximizes cooling efficiency and performance, making it ideal for high-power applications.

Full-Race Intercooler Mounting Beam: A hand-fabricated lower support beam constructed from high-strength steel for additional rigidity and longevity.

Full-Race Aluminum Charge Piping (Hot and Cold Side): Inlet and outlet sizing has been boosted to accommodate 3″ piping on each side.

Cast Aluminum Y-Pipe: Our F-150 and Raptor intercooler kits feature a cast aluminum Y-Pipe for a stronger, better-fitting, and more reliable intercooler upgrade.

Hardware Kit: Engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement, this kit includes all necessary components for installation including 2-ply couplers, t-bold clamps, piping, mounting brackets, a horn relocation bracket, and more.

Why should I upgrade to the Full-Race 2015-2023 F-150 EcoBoost Intercooler?

Heat is the enemy of horsepower. Unfortunately, the OEM charge air cooler on the 2015-2023 Ford Raptor & F-150 3.5L EcoBoosts is woefully inadequate, even at stock boost levels. One quick pull can result in charge air temps well above the recommended levels. When your truck’s computer sees this it starts reducing power to save the engine. Our Upgraded Intercooler Kit helps address this problem by keeping charge air temperatures low and preventing power loss from overheating. It enhances power retention even under intense conditions.

How does the Full-Race EcoBoost Intercooler Kit improve cooling performance over the OEM intercooler?

The Full-Race V2 Intercooler is the toughest and highest-flowing intercooler ever developed for the Ford Raptor and EcoBoost F-150 trucks. Featuring aerodynamic cast end tanks with internal flow dividers, this F-150 intercooler increases internal flow area by 70% over stock, and limits pressure drops to <1psi at 700+hp airflow rates.

Can I add aftermarket front-end accessories after installing this intercooler?

Yes! Being that the stock EcoBoost intercooler mounting location is anything but ideal, Full-Race focused on making the installation of a steel bumper, bull bar, snowplow, and virtually any other form of F-150 front-end upgrade fully compatible with this intercooler.

What other parts do I need to install?

We’ve included everything you need to install this Intercooler upgrade, however, if you want to take your truck to the next level, we recommend opting for our Complete Cooling Pack, which includes both our Intercooler and the Full-Race Upgraded Aluminum Radiator.

For those looking to get the most out of their EcoBoost engine, we also recommend adding a Turbosmart Vee Port EM Valve.
