BOOST POWER WITH THE GARRETT GTX3071R GEN II TURBO

Garrett's Gen II GTX3071R dual ball bearing turbo has the company's ultra high flow compressor wheel featuring Garrett 8-Blade technology.  Compressor housing is GTX30 style with 4″ inlet and 2″ outlet but has built-in anti-surge machining. Improved ported shroud design for surge resistance. This turbo is sold as a complete assembly with supercore and turbine housing. There's a new fully-machined speed sensor port included on all Gen II GTX turbos—a speed sensor is highly recommended.

While the GTX3071R is a fantastic turbo for multiple applications, the G25-660 is an option that somewhat supersedes it and is the most powerful small-frame turbo on the market. That said, the GTX3071R Gen II Turbo has proven itself to be a truly good turbocharger, boosting power considerably and reliably.

ABOUT GARRETT GTX SERIES TURBOCHARGERS

Garrett GTX Series turbochargers are designed specifically for hard-core enthusiasts who want optimal performance. The forged fully-machined billet aluminum compressor wheels feature next-generation aerodynamics that provides a larger horsepower range and maximize boost response.

Ported shroud compressor housings increase surge resistance and provide reliable, continuous power throughout the power band. A dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge prolongs the lifespan and improves shaft balance. The watercooled CHRA keeps housing temperatures to a minimum. The turbine wheel is constructed from Inconel, a Super Alloy that maintains strength during prolonged exposure to high exhaust gas temperatures.


CERAMIC COATING

Looking for a way to protect your turbo or exhaust manifold and improve its efficiency at the same time? Our in-house ceramic exhaust coating does both! Available in black or silver, these 2000+ degree ceramic coatings look great and provide an extra layer of protection against corrosion. By coating the exterior surfaces of your turbo hot side or manifold you retain the heat and energy in the exhaust, not in your engine bay. Improving under-hood temps and increasing efficiency with improved turbo spool are great reasons to add these coatings. Please note that ceramic coating is completed in-house and will add an additional lead time of 1-2 weeks to your order.
