Subaru Impreza WRX/STI 1.5 Scroll Stock Location Turbo Kit

Full-Race's 1.5 scroll header/up pipe kit for Stage 2+ Subarus is engineered and dyno tested to produce the fastest spool, quickest response and most HP/TQ gains for a stock location header. The 1.5 scroll system consists of the twin scroll lower manifold (the same one used on Gen 2 Twin scroll kits) and stock location 1.5 scroll up-pipe. Designed to optimize performance for a stock location single scroll turbo, the 1.5 scroll up pipe uses a twin-runner configuration with the final 2->1 merge collector in close proximity to the turbine. The 1.5 scroll combines twin scroll performance characteristics with the convenience, easy installation and OE appearance of the single scroll stock location turbos. Any stock or upgraded-stock style turbocharger and aftermarket downpipe will fit, allowing Stage 2 Subaru's to retain all current mods. For best results, Full-Race recommends using the ATP GT series turbochargers. Compatible for all RHD and LHD Subaru chassis. Headers include Full-Race's warranty against cracking.

Application Notes:

  • The OEM Subaru triple layer steel gasket is strongly recommended. There are other less expensive options available, but this is the best because it has a built-in crush ring and is steel so it will not deteriorate. The Subaru part number for the exhaust gaskets is PN # 14038 AA 000. Torque properly to factory specifications.
  • Fits stock oil pan only.
  • Wrap wire loom as it comes out of firewall with heat wrap and pull with zip ties towards shock tower for additional clearance
  • HPC coated turbine housing is strongly recommended
  • HPC coated up pipe, downpipe and lower manifold also recommended
  • Heat wrap recommended and will not void warranty
